The Torrey Pines EchoTherm HP30A-2 230V digital hot plate has an 8 x 8 inch milled aluminum top plate, a temperature range of 25 to 450 degrees C, and an accuracy of + or - 1%. The milled aluminum top plate provides uniform heat distribution and resistance to chipping. A platinum resistance temperature detector (RTD), feedback, and an LCD readout provide control to 1 degree C, and either the temperature of the plate surface or the solution can be controlled. This hot plate allows for timed operations of up to 100 hours. Temperature ramping provides controlled heating and cooling rates. It has an epoxy-coated cast aluminum base for durability, and a drip edge diverts spills to help protect the internal components. It comes with a detachable line cord.
