The MonoPix from Carson is a smartphone digiscoping adapter set that comes included with a retrofitted 8x42mm waterproof monocular. Take pictures and record video using the built-in camera application on your smartphone through the lenses of the monocular. Then, share your images and videos with friends, family and co-workers through social media, text or email. The MonoPix smartphone adapter is retrofitted to fit the included 8x42mm monocular. The smartphone adapter is adjustable to fit most popular smartphones (up to 3.75 inches wide in portrait orientation) including Apple (iPhone), Samsung (Galaxy/Note), HTC, LG and more. It is also compatible with multi-camera smartphones. In most instances, there is no need to remove your phone's case. However, some larger, thicker phone cases may need to be removed. The digiscoping adapter is NOT compatible with other binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, microscopes, telescopes or tablets in the marketplace (please see the sizing guide under the product details section for further information). The included monocular is tripod mountable and comes included with a soft pouch, wrist strap, lens covers and a microfiber cleaning cloth. The monocular contains an 8x power magnification and a 42mm objective lens. The lenses are fully multi-coated to ensure extremely sharp and ultra-precise image quality.
